Borocay - the paradise continues....

The next day I woke up super early, 6 am....I was well rested and ready to tackle the day. I showered and got ready and made my way to the dining area of the building. My hosts provided breakfast for their guests and drinks which was pretty cool.

So June, who is the hostess and receptionist took me to the dining area near the pool and I was greeted with another beautiful day.

Guy cleaning pool...blue skies.

I had a typical Filipino breakfast of Rice, Loganiza, eggs and white vinegar. They also gave me hot sauce to add a little flavor and kick to it:

It was delicious! I had coffee and freshly squeezed mango juice as well. While I was eating, June the hostess asked me if I wanted to book any activities and I of course said yes. So she booked me for Island hoping, snorkeling, hiking and fishing. Since it was only 7 am I had some time to take a dip in the pool  as they were going to come and pick me up at 10am.

After a few laps in the pool and doing some reading on the lawn chairs, my ride was here to pick me up. They picked me up and for $20.00 I got the island hoping, snorkeling, fishing and hiking package!! I was greeted by the manager that runs the place and she set me up with a couple from Korea. We met our tour guides and were on our way:

The coast

This island is known as Crocodile island ,wonder why?

Do you see it?

Crystal Cove where we did some hiking and under ground cave swimming.

After a full morning and early afternoon of exploring (I did go fishing, but I haven't had a chance to upload the images yet, will get to it). We had lunch which was also included. After that nice meal we headed back to Station 2.

I then decided to be brave and go parasailing and jet skiing - I have never done either and I was nervous!!
If you see closely - those dots...parasailers. I was about to become one of those.

Parasailing was absolutely crazy...the guys that drove the boat and basically had my life in their hands, barely spoke English and I kept asking if I had to go into the water or from the boat to be launched into the sky, they just gave me a droll look and responded with  "You can do either" and then took a drag of their cigarettes (BTW, everyone basically smokes in the Philippines). I didn't feel very confident at first....and it was something I had to do on my own (Not gonna lie I took a Xanax before so I wouldn't be completely freaked out). So I took a deep breath and climbed into the harness they had waiting for me. After we reached the point where I could be 'launched' from, I got into position where they attached the Parachute to me, I was then locked into position and they waved to me "Cya" and before I could say anything else, I was up in the air. To say I was freaking out was an understatement, but kudos for me, I didn't scream like a little bitch. I just kept saying "People do this all of the time, and there are two people usually strapped in and Enjoy the view, look at the pretty blue water". The guy had quickly told me the hand motion to give them when I was ready to go down, well damn it I was determined to get my money's worth, and so I parasailed for a good 15 minutes. It was absolutely fantastic minus the little voice that kept saying 'It's water...if you fall it will be OK' even though I am not a trained diver nor do I posses the skills to make such a smooth landing. But I put away that negative voice and just enjoyed it all. I was a chicken shit for not bringing my camera or phone with me for fear I would drop it or I would be dropped. You will just have to believe me when I say the sight was amazing and I had a great time.
